Updates

The blog received several updates, such as the Updates feed (you’re reading it right now!), new social media links, and a space for Flipper Zero apps. You can read more on the main blog: Blog update.

Thanks to RibShark, the Bonus Codes Generator for Colin McRae Rally 04 now supports the prototype builds of CMR04. As of the time of writing this update, only an Xbox prototype is known to use this revised version of the generation algorithm, but any future prototypes that may surface in the future may potentially use it too.

The first hotfix for SilentPatch for the Grand Theft Auto games is now out. Includes a few new fixes, but most importantly, multiple fixes for regressions introduced in this update, and compatibility improvements with other mods and game versions.

Tomorrow, GTA San Andreas turns 20 years old. Today, I’m honored to publish the biggest update of SilentPatch for the classic GTA trilogy to date, with the full source code now available on GitHub under the MIT license!

Application to stress test the Flipper by finding Mersenne primes using the Lucas-Lehmer Test, much like Prime95 does.

Two more cheats are released for the PS2 version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2:

• Speed Boost for all cars
• Disable Catchup

This patch for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2) adds four “modern” control schemes to the game, with throttle/brake sensitivity tuned for the range of triggers. Those are:

• Setup E – a cut mapping from the prototype builds of Hot Pursuit 2.
• Setup F – mapping inspired by the Xbox version of Underground.
• Setup G – mapping inspired by the Type 2 setup from the PS2 version of Underground.
• Setup H – mapping inspired by the Xbox version of Hot Pursuit 2.

Bonus Codes Generators now support all 3 TOCA Race Driver games. While TOCA Race Driver 1 and 2 had generators available elsewhere, TOCA Race Driver 3 was thought to be impossible to implement until now. For a writeup on how this was achieved, see Bonus Codes Generators for TOCA Race Driver.

A simple proof-of-concept of pseudo 3D rendering on the Flipper Zero, modelled after a famous Mode 7 from SNES.

This mod replaces Mahjong tile faces with those from Yakuza 5 Remastered, adding English numbers to the number tiles and letters to wind and dragon tiles. The table and wood textures are kept as-is.
